This patch set should drop cleanly onto a virgin 2.2.13 kernel. We
have numerous production machines running kernels based on this patch
set and things seem to be fine with it.

Usual caveats about 'it works for us' but test locally before saving
all the accounting data on a RAID volume apply of course.
Hi Dave!. I thought I would hit two birds with one stone.

With the proper driver the DPT cards have been as reliable as a
bowling ball. Not very fast but extremely tough and reliable.

another thread the situation becomes more
complicated when Dave Miller's memory leak patches for 2.2.12 are
mixed into the picture. The 08/24/1999 patches run into a
2.2.12+memory-leak kernel pretty hard.

In this case you will probably want to obtain the TCP/IP
memory leak fixes and apply those as well. We are running production
boxes with that mix and all seems to be well.

ppy to give this a try but I would
need some type of cookbook to follow.
This all pretty much implies that a new RAID patchset will be required
when 2.2.13 hits the streets.
