Pardon my confusion.
I want to move from 2.2.14 raid5 with IDE patches to support Promise
Ultra66 to the 2.2.16 version.
I have the raid patches, but I am confused about which ide patch to
take.

Sorry for asking for the same thing but accidentaly I erased the

Hello everybody.
I'm using Raid1 with kernel 2.2.13. But I need to install kernel 2.0.34 now.
Where can I get the raid patch for kernel 2.0.34?
Thanks in advance.

I only see raid patches going back to 2.0.35 at
kernel.org/pub/linux/daemons/raid/
As far as I know there are no newer patches, I've used the 2.2.11 patches
with 2.2.13 successfully, ignore the rejects.

You missed the failing part of the patch concerning fs.h.

I have heard everyone talking about successfully applying the 2.2.6
raid-kernel patch to a 2.2.9 kernel, which would be great for me as I have
heard they have made the SMP code more stable and optimized.
I patch the kernel in a standard fashion... (from /usr/src/linux)

Will you please tell me how to use RAID patch 1110 on my 2.0.36-pre-patch-22
? It always fails on some files (sys.c etc.). I've try two patch order:
patch kernel to 2.0.36-pre first then patch RAID; and patch RAID first then
patch 2.0.36-pre. The result is same.
Please help me!
