Any postscript guru's here? I created a postscript document with enscript, then ran ps2epsi against it. When I try to open the eps file with gv, the bounding box is right but the text in the file just flashes on the screen for a fraction of a second. The end of the eps file has the following:

Hmm Turns out that the whole _R thing is an enscript defined procedure. Other types of eps files, say from Kword, don't have this problem. So, it seems that there is something funny about enscript files when they are turned into eps files. Now, if only Kword would not have bounding box

I can't say which port it uses. I can't get tcpdump installed with the rpm due to some sort of database problem. As I said, RedHat 7.1 is a weak performer in some ways. I much prefer my Caldera 2.4 box. Unfortunately, I have messed with it so much it is getting questionable, too. Joel On Sun,
