Hello All, I have compiled the 2.4.20 kernel for RH 8. I have copied the bzImage to /boot and named it vmlinuz-2.4.20-1.8.0. I have added this to menu.lst in /boot/grub (RH 8 uses grub), but I need to create initrd-2.4.20-1.img Do I run mkintrd? And if so, what is the syntax to create the above fi

!!!MAKE SURE!!! the Telco has their equipment set to B8ZS / ESF. I have had the GOOD fortune of Working with Hell SOuth ... errr bell south and the T1 card in the Tandem was set to AMI, even thought we were suppose to be running B8ZS. Same problem. It would sync and stay for a while, then drop.
