Well, I have solved my fonts problem. I just put in a lindows computer (having a switch box is nice.) and now use lindows to browse, etc. Things GUI. BTW, lindows 4.0 seems to be a bit of a bust for now. Apparently some people are having problems switching over. AND, despite all the hype, you canno

I ran ttmkfdir and sent the output to fonts.dir. I just hope fonts.dir is where it is supposed to go. There was no fonts.scale file created by ttmkfdir. Is this bad? After making the adjustments in the fonttastic configuration file, the font server started up OK and I restarted the X server. The
