I've been told that this works. Haven't used it. Please read appropriate man pages. YMMV. You will need to add the correct /dev/hd?? to have it use the correct drive/partition. Read the man pages for any other possible missing options. Step 1: badblocks -o bad_blocks_file Step 2: e2fsck -l

I finally completed the kde2.2beta1 build yesterday and having been using it a fair bit today (6.5 hours). Thus far I have not seen a single trace of screen corruption (normally starts to appear within the first hour of use) so I'm guessing that the update to kde2.2 may have fixed the problem. I
