they have NOT fixed the flash problem, because it's not their

Hello Sam,

I see Mozilla has introduced version 1.0 Patch RC3. According to the

they addressed. Has anyone tried it specifically in regards

What boot mechanism IS used with MS App servers ?. Can thin-client boot
on Linux be adapted to conform, rather than adapt the client itself ?.

I have setup a redhat 7.2 ltsp server ( It is from k12ltsp project so I
hope it applies). Server side OK. However, I can only get one client to
work and that with a Celeron 333! I tried setting up a pentium 233 and
pentium 166 client. At first I verified the mac in dhcpd.conf and it was

Title: RE: [Ltsp-discuss] Event log for LTSP Server
Yes, the first place to look after something goes wrong in Linux is /var/log/sys.log... i.e.:
tail /var/log/sys.log
or grep for the times when the problem was occuring

Linux stores its log files in /var/log
Many things end up in messages
Some things end up in dmesg
Boot stuff in boot.log
Note that this will include server stuff and terminal stuff.

Hello group, my server has unexpectedly crashed. I am trying to find out
what events may have happened to cause this. The symptoms are: Freezing of
terminals after 5-10 minutes of use, eventually freezing the Server as well.
Any ideas or suggestions.

We're currently evaluating our options in regards to Microsoft's impending new license
program.
I've done some basic testing with the LTSP but have a few nagging questions:
1) We have multiple locations which are all connected by fiber (T1 - 10MB
connections). Is it possible to use the LTSP at

Did you had to do anything to make Mozilla and Open Office use up less
resources? Here Open Office takes 40 MB of Memory and Mozilla 20 per
user. Is there anyways to make them share some of the memory across users?
