I have been testing a small network of about 6 thin clients over the

Gig IDE hard drives (Raid striped), kernel 2.4.17, Gnome 1.4 and a

I installed xosview after reading about it on this list a few da

With the help of Mr. Cuzzola, I was able to mount a partition and copy
my X log. The only thing my virgin eyes can see wrong is the warning:
cannot load apm. Would that cause X not to start? If that's not it,
maybe some of you more experienced types can sort thro

I've just dusted off and tested my old plustek scanner which I though died
years ago and it is now firing up. I am looking for some advice on how to
integrate it into my LTSP setup.
Should I attach it to the server or the workstation?
The scanner package says workstation, but space wise it would
If you connect your server to the internet via ADSL, then automatically
all your clients have access too (all their processes are running on the
server...)

Can i use my adsl-network to an ltsp-connection?
The grafikcart in my workstation is a trio 64. Vill it give me trouble?

Hi List
Does anyone out there know what sound module to use with a Via Eden mini ATX?
FYI
ltsp 3.0
Mandrake 8.0
Any tweaks any one has for these systems would be appreciated. Even though it
seems to run nicely.

Change the server address, or change the workstation address. Can't fix
anything until you get that fixed.

support etc.. Just today they finally released a new gnome-core package
that's supposed to take care of that. I'll let you know how it works
after it gets finished downloading on this horridly slow

there is an option (-g I think) that you can send to win when starting
your Win4Lin session. You can tell it any geometry you want and it will

faster than they used to run on win98 native!
I want to use this design in a K12 environment, the only downside is win
98 and apps installations are required for each login. You won't want
