- I already installed the package ltsp-localdev
- I already configure the lts.conf file
The script rc.localdev in the ltsp directory makes a moun with
the superamount option.
The script creates the 2 subdirectory
the ltsp side of
things.
It's like the
local cdrom is not
being mounted and
needs to be
stimulated.
Any ideas?

the devices just because the /dev/hdc doesn't exist (it's because it starts the

I am trying to get an S3 Trio3D OnBoard video chip to use the s3virge
driver. It ill work all right with the SVGA driver, but I know that the
exact chip (86c365) is supported by s3virge (accelerated) as per the man
page.
My lts.conf includes:

XSERVER = s3virge
I would like to know which terminal is requesting a page through a web
application. Other machines give it up via the REMOTE_ADDRESS variable
made available through the web server, but, of course, the thin clients
all return the address of the ltsp server(the browser is NOT running
locally).
I second the Icewm suggestion. Very easy to configure and low overhead wm.
As far as your autologin is concerned, I went down the KDE/KDM path as
well before finding IceWM/GDM was a much better solution.

some 4 minutes. The download of the kernel works fine, uncompressing
Linux is some half a Minute, then Initializing RAM disk also some 1/2-1

I've downloaded the Xvesa package and it works just
great to my WS, except to those that have serial mouse ( PS/2 is OK ) I'd like

Anyone else have colormap problems with rdesktop? Actually color is just fine
as lonf as mouse stays within the wintermserv window, but reverses when the
mouse moves outsude of it. This on Macintosh cliets with 2.4.20-pre11 ekato
kernel and Skip Gaede's nfs mount from ydl2.3 running Xfree 4.2.
I Just replaced my mandrake 8.2 to 9.0 but LTSP is
not running. It stops showing the following message
