Felipe,
Just a thought, we had some hair-pulling here with a similar situation - all
'seemed' to be right, but wouldn't work. Finally, Tried a nicer, newer 17"
monitor, pow! Worked a treat. While not in use at the moment, had a box with
your SIS6326 running correctly, as well.

I'm on the above group, many appear to like the 3COM 905 series network cards.
There's quite a few links to stuff on the above page; likely these could be
useful. (smoothw
Hi Folks,
I'm soo enthused with this LTSP. Just finished with another demo of it to
some folks, they were very impressed. (I'm scrambling to learn!)
Any rate , a local pastor asked me if there was any method using LTSP to host
a multi-player game. (The idea being an outreach to teenagers)

It could be you need to specify a port. Inline is a copy of what worked here,
using Mandrake 9.1 and so forthe. I've since switched to K12LTSP, but did have
this working.

Jim, et al,
This has been really neat, getting a single workstation to come up. I've been
playing,
and had some test kids give it a go. Amazing! I've oft thought this was possible, now
seeing it is tremendous.
Finding: case-sensitive things! (hee hee) my ws001 was giving grief, 'module not

This has been accomplished; install went fine. Back to square 1 with the ws001
and ws002 no-video issues. What file(s) would need to be edited? I'm certain to
be missing something here ... (besides hair ;) I've downl

Thank you - I appreciate this info! My mailer knackered this thread
Hello,
Former windows guy learning linux, very much gripped by this LTSP item.
Have printed and read most of the common publications related to LTSP.
Have 2 workstations eagerly getting to run level 3, or 4 (but no telnet
enabled on the server)
Desire to get these to a level 5, but am total
