I'm not familiar with the variable, but I assume that it needs to be
exported for the x server, which means that you'll need to do it before
logging in. Have you tried booting to RL 3, exporting the variable, and
then "/tmp/start_ws"? If that works, then you just edit
/opt/ltsp/i386/etc/rc.setupx

/tftpboot/kernel. If there is, check the .conf file under xinet.d and see if
you are using the -s option to change the root of the tftp download, in which
case it should

if they're worth any money. I found a page in German by google and some
Hawaiians talking about it, but no real info. Any help?

I haven't been watching the lists for about two weeks, so I apologize in
advance if I'm repeating someone else. I recently installed at home RH7.3
with some Thai additions + the latest LTSP set Kernel 2.4.18, etc.. off the
ltsp.org site, and I got everything set up with no problem except this:
I found a heap of old SMC boot roms still in package with manuals and
anything that I can pick up for a song. The go with some old ISA cards that
I would also find if I looked. After looking through the documentation (what
little I know about networks) they appear to boot from a netware serve
