Peter- Thanks for the link, very interesting; I didn't know about that tool. At first glance, putting esd support seems to make sense, but I wonder if putting SDL support would be better? That way, flash could run on any platform supported by SDL, including esd. Looking at the debian packag

Hey, I saw that there is something about the integration of Pulseaudio in Ubuntu LTSP root, in Launchpad : https://wiki.ubuntu.com/EdgyPlusOneThinclientSound?highlight For those of you that could be interested. It could be cool to get it done for the next release. Cheer, Francis Peter Hartm

I tried to get PulseAudio working not too long ago, but I couldn't get all the pieces working. There are a lot of moving parts. I think several options were discussed for networking audio in the next version of LTSP. One way would be to create a backend for ALSA that also allowed an adaptor

Well, Flash 9 doesn't support ESD, but it works with Alsa. It seems that PulseAudio can do the trick, by forwarding Alsa stream to the terminal. It seems a great solution for other applications too. I didn't tried it myself, but if it does the trick, we should switch from ESD. The great thing i
