For those who are interested in the EPIA / Eden / Via boards, there is a site that I found quite useful : linitx.org. There is also a discussion group on there. Be aware that there is also a linitx.com, which may be related, and probably not bad at all, just look up the one you intend to

Michel, this is an amazing tip. will opem the boxes and see what serial numbers there are. all the power supplies are 12Vx4.58A, that is less than 60W. i'll try to get beefier 12V supply (my car?) and see if the network comes back. did you replace the 12V power supply board in the case?

Russ, you mention Ibutton as the dreamed of hardware feature. I would love to go a bit further - thumbprint scan. what would work well for access is something at a much lower resolution than required by law enforcement or spook agencies. all that is needed is a high probability of unique

I too am interested in LTSP hardware. One ready-to-go platform seems ideal for LTSP. One caveat: it comes pre-loaded with Windoze CE on flash and I haven't seen how to get it to boot LTSP, though I know it can be done, since one vendor sells it as an LTSP client. It is the ST320 and they
