has anyone been able to get the SIS900 onboard chip to work? been having some weird Novell problems, that almost back some horrible nightmares. Anybody managed to get it to run PXE, or just pick up DHCP?   James

Hi James, I've been using SIS900 onboard NICs for a while. I just remove the novell stuff from BIOS, and I burn the rom-o-matic .rom instead. If you're using an AWARD modular BIOS, then you're able to do this. You need 2 tools: - AWARDFLASH.EXE (for DOS): With this, you are able to save

We are using LTSP 3.0.4 initrd kit and sucessfully booted up various network card workstations using the newly built kernel (2.4.18). We tried booting up workstation with SiS900 onboard network card and it stops with: mknbi-1.2-11/first32.c (GPL) top of ramdisk is 0x01e0 Ramdisk at 0x01d4f00

I'm trying to boot some machines using ltsp. My ltsp server is ok, I got two machines running under it very fine. The thing is that we got some machines with on-board network card. On linux and windows (they have both linux and windows installed but we want also to have ltsp on it) the network
