There is a lot more to a full disaster recovery plan then I could possibly write in
an email.
In a nutshell I:
1) Rsync the main server to the hot backup daily
2) Do a full weekly backup to tape using bru
3) Do a daily incremental backup to tape
4) Rotate the tapes on a six week rotatio
Thanks for the information Pete. Can you share with me how to do the system backup for ltsp servers (software etc)?

Yes, I do mean that the second server is running all the time with heartbeat running
to switch servers should the primary fail. The two servers are kept syncronized so
that they are (almost) mirrors of each other.
