I've got Lubuntu 12.04 and I installed the latest artwork from lubuntu
artwork daily ppa.
The exact version I have is lubuntu-artwork

@Rafael
No, this doesn't happen with 12.04 artwork.
I changed the theme to Mist and don't get the orange colour selection.
The problem seems to be confined to default Lubuntu theme only.
@Salama
I agree with you.
I also added Lubuntu daily ppa to get the latest version of pcmanfm and I

Again, I must insist that the Artwork Team is open to ANY proposal, if
achievable, and we're in time.
Thanks for this, Iberê ;)

Thanks Rafael for ensuring that all of us know we are encouraged to
contribute to the Artwork Team. I will take some time and review the links
you sent previously. Once again, the artwork done with 13.10 is very nice!

You're welcome, David. Of course, the Lubuntu artwork is not my job. Okay,
the team are two (three) people, but others contributed to make new icons
(or correct some), gtk controls, wallpapers and even a new theme with big
buttons.
Cooperation is our most powerful resource :)

Hey Rafael,
How do I submit my openbox theme onto that site? I simply linked to the
box-look version in the incoming proposals page.
I will also work on a theme that incorporates the Lubuntu color scheme
as well, but uses the round buttons, if you think that would be
beneficial. I have also thou
There's no blueprint at this moment, but we'll make it public soon. In the
meantime we'e just "closing holes". If you see there's an icon needed,
point to that.
It's better if you upload your theme as a .tar.gz at the wiki, as well as
you need to create a brand new page. You can read the help abou
Ok, I will work on some icons when I get a chance. I followed your
advice and switched the wiki up, to point to a newly created page with
an attached screenshot and .tar.gz
I am working on a box window theme, and I will do the same with that.
It implements the same idea behind the Ambiance theme (
Is the box icon blueprint public yet? I have thinking about starting on
some icon work (mainly applications, as I am not sure what holes need
closed). I have a few other things I am doing right now, so if it isn't
ready, that is quite fine, just be sure to keep me updated, as I would
like to help

@Kadrija, I'm not sure if we have the same version, but my Lubuntu theme is
working fine. Look at Disks and Transmission using standard Box theme:

That may be the problem. You're using Lubuntu 12.04 with disk-utility (it's
deprecated now for gnome-disks, and they're not the same). Check if this
happens with the standard 12.04 theme. Or you can try upgrade your Lubuntu
to a higher version (sudo update-manager -d) . Everything's working fine

Anyway, the Lubuntu theme has backward compatibility for "old" GTK2 apps.
This annoyance shouldn't exist. Try that, change your theme to the one what
shipped in 12.04 (Precise Pangolin).

Just because 12.04 reached EOL doesn't mean that we shouldn't use it!!
Some old machines - with very low memory - won't be able to use the
new versions.. so 12.04 is the only available solution to many users
in "3rd world" countries.

That's true. If you want to use 10.04 you should be able to, and programs
must work the same way. But you must expect some weird changes when you

Oh, right. I'm not an expert in architecture. So, my K7 (Sempron 3200
Athlon64) is newer than those who need non-PAE? Because everything works
