Dear Sean, Ultimately fingering has to be a personal choice, of course, and it will be governed to some extent by what one's hands and lute are like. However, if you say yours isn't the cleanest stop, it is unlikely to be the best solution. I'm not bothered about the visual aspect, but I do worry
