Dear Friends,
Here is a baroque guitar by Martin De Witte we have to part with, since
our projects are going too much intwo lute direction now and we do not
need two baroque guitars. The instrument is almost brand new we hardly
used it. Comes in a made to measure hard case.

Hello, I want to show you this baroque guitar, just arrived yesterday from
the restorer (Erik-Pierre Hofmann, thanks to him) original baroque guitar
from 1760) French one (made in Marseille, Nice or Lyon ?) and first restored
around 1800 in Wien. Gut strung.

Hello all,
I've posted a new video of a live performance of me playing
Santiago de Murcia's "Fandango" on baroque guitar. I've incorporated
some improvisation into the piece. This represents the first time I've

Rob,
Your answer reminds me of an incident when I was a kid in a WMCA summer

In some cases, yes. Certainly theorbos have better projection when
they have flattened cross-sections. And baroque lutes are noticeably
non-circular in section. I think it's geometrically impossible to
make these kind of shapes without twisting some of the ribs.
