With the help of development/tools/generate_symbols_images.py I went
systematically through all math symbols, corrected errors in lib/symbols and
generated missing images for toolbar use. Now everything looks good, and I'd

It took far too long, but finally it is possible to run the tex2lyx tests
without overwriting any files. autotools "make check" still overwrites the
files (this is still a useful thing to have if you want to update the
references), but I will add another target for that and change "make check"
