Lyx 1.0.0 crashing on view/export DVI pr PS

Hi all, I got the newest lyx, the 1.0.0 release, but I had some problems: As in man page, I set the Enviroment LYX_DIR_10x to the libdir /usr/X11R6/share/lyx in my profile and get the error : LYX_DIR_10x environment variable no good. System directory set to: ./ Any way I have the configurations

Some questions

I have a couple of problems and would appreciate if someone could help me out. When I run my linux (Red Hat 5.2) at runlevel 5, i. e. automatically start up X windows, and then try to start LyX, I get an error message: can't resolve symbol '__argz_strinify' and LyX won't start. Why does this happ

Bill, have you tried to save the LyX file as Latex then run Latex by hand as to exactly see what the problem is. If Tex is running out of space you have to flush the buffer once in a while. Try inserting \clearpage as ERT after every say 5th figure. Let me know if it worked. Roland On 27-Ja
