Hello,
I a using LyX 1.0.3 and it seems there is a problem when Lyx reads a
file containing a formula. If you load this file, the formula is not
properly recognized. Is it a known bug ?

Hello everyone,
I have just discovered lyX and I'm eager to try it. Unfortunately, I don't
have Linux readily installed on a computer as I'm a Mac and SGI user.
Therefore, my questions are as follows:
(a) Can lyX be installed on IRIX 6.5. Being not very familiar with intricate
compilation on U

I can't filter this list with kmail (nor netscape), it seems that the list name
appears in no accessible place (a see it it the header, but kmail don't seems
to find it).
couldn't you put simply a [lyx-users] in the subject line, as everybody else?
Thanks a lot

Babel (the package that does the i18n) does not setup things until
"\begin{document}" is reached. I guess that is the reason.

Hi,
I created in LyX (Insert>Floats> Wide Table Float) a rather longish
table. I declared it as a longtable (Layout > Table Layout >
Longtable), but what I got does not split at all between pages.
How can I do this?

Hi,
I have to write a journal and I want to use "table of contents"
(Inhaltsverzeichnis) to renumber the parts of the Text and make a table of
contents. I am in trouble with the title of this section. I want to name
it "Tagesordnungspunkte", "Inhaltsverzeichnis" is wrong.
Any hints? I don´t fi

I just installed Lyx to make some Linux doc in sgml. While I can
produce such documents since I have the sgml-tools installed I can't
reload the same document to rework it. The LaTeXconfig.lys file says
that it is because one "linuxdoc-sgml.sty" file isn't installed a
