Thanks Uwe. This is with both the normal (large) and alternative installers. The normal small that downloads didn't work as it couldn't connect to the server(?). I'm wondering now if that might just be the final message. The [NEXT] button becomes active but after that Lyx outputs a message

Thanks Uwe. That seems to fix the problem with scrbook.layout, but if I create NewFrom Template and select docbook_article.lyx, it then fails to find docbook.layout, even though this again is present in the layouts directory. I tried a ToolsReconfigure again, but without success. Any thoughts?
