Hi,
yesterday I updated Lyx to version 2.4. The error is still there.
By the way: there is a readme in the installation files. And it specifically recommends MikTex for Windows! So the error can't be in MikTex, can it?

1. The subject index does not appear in the table of contents.
I solved that with the command
\ addcontentsline {toc} {c
x\index
% renewcommand*{\index}[1]{\OrgIndex{#1}}
% Trennausnahmen
\hyphenation{Text-ei-gen-schaf-ten}
% Einfügungen von Andreas Plihal
% Zähler für Fußnoten in Farbrahmen (Tipp von A. Rubin)
\newcounter{myfootmark}
% Damit Fußnotentexte bei Seitenumbruchs nicht zerrisse
wanted to have this book bound, the bookbinder would have to cut away a lot from the pile of paper.
What can I do to fix that problem?
