Hello all.
Thought I would bring this up for discussion.
I had a support worker this morning who has an iPhone 4. I mentioned
that it can be used by the blind and visually impaired thanks to
VoiceOver. So I made them aware of where to turn on VoiceOver. But I had
some ideas that came into my
Hi Chris,
I actually have a sighted classmate at university who uses VoiceOVer to read
iBooks. However, I do know that iBooks also has a setting which lets you read
kids books aloud, I believe, but I'm not sure if this extends to all books or
simply depending on the author's permission.
I already know of soe sighted people who use VoiceOver here i the uS One Apple
employee uses it to check Twitter on his way to work. Others use it for
similar tasks. Some use it to listen to books with iBooks, just as you said.

Hi Eric,
Sadly, I left my keyboard at my Mother's place, hence won't have access to it
for a while. In my testing under IOS4, the on-screen keyboard (which
presumably would include the dictate button) was unavailable whenever the BT
keyboard was on and paired. I noticed that after some

Hi Everyone,
A couple of weeks ago, I installed Yorufukuru on my iMac. It seemed to work
properly at first, but now, for some reason, each time I open it, it opens in
one particular Tweet in my timeline. I used to be able to close it and reopen
it and things worked like they were supposed
Hi Desi,
Try opening the application and pressing cmd-0. This will take you to the main
window.
Cheers.

Hi Chris,
Its in the middle of the status bar. VO output no longer is emitted through
the loud speaker during calls, so you have to listen hard and hope the other
party isn't talking to loudly. To me, this is still better than the old way
where the person you're talking with hears everything
Hi,
I just gave that a try, and though I heard Main Window the result was still
the same as before. I'm wondering if I'm going to have to uninstall and then
reinstall the program? If so, how do I go about uninstalling it?

Well I never had an iPhone 4, so perhaps the hardware addressed this issue last
year. I can tell you that on my 3GS, the other party almost always heard the
call waiting signal, and more over heard who was calling, not to mention text
messages. This was even if I attached the headphones and
Well I can't hear VoiceOver at the receiving end even if speakerphone is
active. This is on an iPhone 4. I can however hear VoiceOver on the 3GS.
Not that it bothers me but I can see why it would bother some.

I just want to inform you of a very good, quite addictive, fully
accessible game whose title is in the subject lline. Test your musical
knowledge by correctly answering the artist and title whose lyric line
is given. VoiceOver reads everything, including the question and the
multiple choices.
Hi Paul,
Manpages are your friend. Try man command name, and you'll learn more than
you ever wanted to know about some commands. Alternatively, if you want a quick
summary, most commands will accept an -h or --help option, though not all of
them will do this.
Best,
Zack.

This is an interesting and fun read explaining how to recover your password.
You have to put your phone in to DFU mode and restore but it's better then
nothing. Read below.

Hi Dane,
That info helps me understand what it does. Thanks for that. I'm
still a little uncertain about why that would be helpful. Is it good for say

Hi Eric, Geoff, and Others,
Not to dispute Geoff, since I don't have an iPhone 4s, but this has to be a
drastic change with the Apple Wireless Keyboard, since up till now you
certainly did have your choice of switching to the on-screen keyboard, even
with the Bluetooth keyboard paired. Note

OK, we are still receiving complaints/protests/call them what you will about

Wow! pressing the eject key worked perfectly. Now I can quickly get
