I have just managed to set up my first distribution list with address book and Mail. There are some options specifically for distribution lists which you can bring up in address book when you bring up the context menu so the concept of distribution is definitely a Mac as well as a Windows one.

There is an accessible Mail client in the Mac called Mail. You will probably find this on your dock, control F3 and select mail and press return. Or wilst on the desktop or in a finder window press control shift A to b ring up your applications folder. Type Ma and Maill will probably come up.

I would just use serial mail as some ISPs will trigger a spam when you try and send to more then x number of people. Serial mail will parse out the group and put the people in to there separate to field. No spam and I managed to send to about 30 people a week using this method. I do have to
