Folks,
Just coming back to a problem I was having with Preview. I'll try to summarise:
1. Each time I open the application I have to reset it to "single page"
instead of "continuous".
2. When reading with VO, the last part of each page is "cut off". What
happens is the tone usuallly signif

Hi Dennis. If you want a folding keyboard, my recommendation would be
the Freedom Universal. Unfortunately, they've replaced it with the
Freedom Pro range, which I don't rate as much. You might be lucky and
get hold of a Universal second hand somewhere. The main difference is

Ok. The changed the interface completely in the new iTunes update. If you hit

Hi,
My brother is thinking of getting a Mac, and I suggested that I thought that
the Mac OS can be purchased and installed on a PC.
I don't know if this is still the case.
Does anyone know about this?

Hi Glen,
What you're proposing is what is called a hackintosh. They're apparently
difficult to get working on occasions, and of at least questionable legality. I
would go for the direct route and just buy a proper APple machine. That being

I would highly advise against this. not only is this highly illegal, it's also
fraught with problems where compatibility of hardware is concerned and the
behaviour of the board is concerned. Though it is possible, there is a great
deal of harm that can be caused by this. I had tested this for a
Even if you could I would not go that route. if you want a mac, go the right

Hello Glenn
There's no legal installation on a PC, as far as I'm aware anyway. It probably
is possible if you're able and willing to do a lot of tinkering; but it's
definitely not supported by Apple and it's definitely not something we would
ever try.

This apple keyboard works with all IOS devices! But will work with the Mac
as well! The case will convert the top of the case to a stand for any IOS
device you use but it is better for the large iPad as a stand. I use it with
the BT keyboard as case which it is and I use the stand part for my IPad.
Listers,
I'm using Lion and in the new mail view. When I get a message that is
sent to me that has multiple recipients I interact with headers but only see
one recipient. after that it says something like three more. How do I see the
rest of the recipients?
Tips greatly appreciated.
What happens if you click on the 3 more? I've wondered the same thing.
thanks.

Hi Sarah,
I have had no luck clicking or pressing a menu or anything on the part
that says there are more recipients. Hopefully someone will know how to use
this part of the Headers or to expand the Headers.

Hello Catherine,
You need to identify whether you are running Lion or Snow Leopard. I don't
think it's possible to retrieve an Admin password if you've forgotten it, but
you can reset it. For systems up through Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) you can
do this if you have the install discs. I sum
