Hello Geoff,
As you know, I have two MJ accounts, one is the Magic Jack Plus, and the other
is the older, traditional account where you plug a device into the USB port of
your Mac or PC. Do you know if the MJ app for the iPhone would allow me to use
one of these two accounts, or would I have
Hello

page up or jump to beginning and end of a line.
I am suppose to use plus function key to execute the above.
I am using a MacBook Pro by the way.
Please tell me what I am doing wrong?
Many thanks

Hi Mike,
Upon initial launch, a dialog is presented where you can choose an existing
account. Now on the my.magicjack.com site, my number is associated with my
iPhone and MJ device. Presumably I will receive in-coming calls on the iPhone,
but I've not yet had an opportunity to verify that.
Hello
I have used the Kindle itself and Kindle for PC extensively for about a year
now.
Almost all the books I wish to read are text-to-speech accessible and they
arrive (after purchase) within 11 seconds.
The PC and the Kindle synchronise within a few seconds once you change from one

Hi Anne
the CMD left and right arrows are working in Text Edit however, FN-VO-up and

Any wisdom?

Hi Eric,
You can set apps to behave differently. In settings--notifications double tap
and item under the heading: in notification center such as messages. Near
the bottom is a button labeled repeat alert. The possible choices range
from never to alerts repeat at two minute intervals.
Hello Christo,
In TextEdit, if you want VO commands to work, you must interact with the text
area. If you do that, then VO-FN-Up Arrow will take you up a page, and with
Down Arrow you'll go down a page.
Here are the non VO navigation commands:
Right Arrow - moves right one character;

No, Kindle books are not accessible on the Mac. There might be a way to jump
through a bunch of hoops and lose the drm and thus be able to access them. but
if you're talking about normal regular access that sighted people take for
granted, no. Can't do it.

Thank you.
I have been working with computers now for 33 years
starting with the Apple II in January of 1979 and one of my
favorite gripes has been that eubicquitous accessibility was always
just around the corner. You do get that condition on a circular track.

Hello Martin,
I buy books from Kobo. The choice is vast and the prices are reasonable. I can
read them on my iPhone using the Kobo app, and on my Mac using Adobe Digital
Editions Preview.

I don't think there is such a thing. and programing it would be trick in my

Hello Krystal You really do need to have a list of your photos with their
numbers, unless of course you only have a couple at a time and, as Sarah says,
you can remember them.
In theory you can label them by two-finger tapping once and then very quickly
again and holding your fingers down. you
Hello Martin,
The books I buy from Kobo are epub format but with DRM. The application I use
to read them on my Mac is Adobe Digital Editions Preview, not Apple's Preview
application installed on all Macs.
The Adobe Digital Editions Preview application is still in beta, but it's free

There is accessibility settings to turn on a voice for the Kindle.
I did it once for a client, but I did not spend any time to determine if I
could access all the menus.

Hello!
I have that program for PC. It was made by a particular person to extract the
mp3 files embedded in a daisy book and give them names in order for them to
appear in order if placed in a playlist.
Many people here are asking for that same function in mac environment. The

Hi Jane,
I'm not using a external drive for this purpose but I'm sure that once
you tell iTunes that external drive is the library location, everything
including podcasts will work just fine.

Hi Geoff,
Thanks for this, Turns out I could find the setting in messages but
not in the other apps I wanted to adjust. It looks like this setting
adjustment is not available for many apps. But, it is there for Messages so I
now know where to look for it to see if it is available.
