If you're having trouble with previews continous view, try the single
page view instead. This will only allow one page at a time to be
vissible to vo, so that you won't be dropped back at the beginning of

There are a couple of commercial solutions that will support writing to, as
well as reading from external hard drives that you share with Windows systems.
Vendors are Paragon and Tuxera for the NTFS-3G support Steve mentioned. There
was an open-source project
I tried it and it broke and would not recignose any ntfs drives under lion but
hopefully they got that fixed by now, Oh btw that is now a paid driver the
toxera ntfs 3g if I'm thinking correctly. Sorry about spelling.

There are several options in the context menu, and most of the
options you're asking about appear in that menu. To activate this
menu, when the link you want is under the vo cursor, press vo-shift-
m, and you'll get a pop-up menu with several options, one of which is

It is an ntfs drive. there are some free tools that used to work but they broke
with lion and were to my knowledge never fixed. but look for macfuse and see
if you can get it to work. I hear that's one of the free ones that broke
majorly.

Go to settings/general/accessibility/voiceover on. In there you'll find a
selection labelled, use compact voice. It is a toggle off or on.

I have an Aluminum Macbook from late 2008 with 4GB/Ram and a 2.4GHZ processor.
I assume, but am not 100% sure that this is a 64-bit machine. I couldn't
ascertain this when I went into the "About This Mac" option.
I have a USB data stick for accessing the Internet during my upcoming
