Just in case anyone else missed this, I was looking for a way to turn off
alerts & notifications so that it wouldn't keep interrupting garage band
recording sessions or family movie watching etc and although the check box has
been there all along, I blanked it out.

I've asked some of these questions in a roundabout
manner but never got any response. I do waffle so no surprise there. I'm happy
to be lead to where the information can be found on or off list.

Hi All,
Yes, Navigon is one of the GPS apps that can be used on an iPod Touch with an
external Bluetooth GPS receiver such as the XGPS150A from Dual Electronics or
the Bad Elf GPS. Glenn's summary is correct, and you can check the recent list

I use both index fingers in portrait mode. I haven't tried landscape mode. I
am so enjoying Fleksy, even though all I can do is type and review text right
now.

Hi All.
I have just discovered the Mac does not support Computer Braille Grade 0. It
supports English grade 1 USA, UK and Unicode. But you do not get Computer grade
braille USA or British. I prefer USa Computer Grade Braille when reading
computer related information.
Any ideas on resolving th
I don't think anyone does proper touch typing with the iPhone. Sighted people
might have a go at it with their phones in landscape, but I can't imagine that
being too enjoyable. As for me, I type with two fingers. I use one from each
hand. Most people who type this way use two thumbs. I use my l
You do not have to type two handed. You can just use one finger to touch
where you think the letters should be, then swipe to the right to listed to
what it thinks you put. It it is wrong, but close, you can flick down
through a list of choices.

I just use one finger to type with Fleksy. I love it a lot and it's a fantastic
app.

Hi Paul,
The folks at Apple removed the handy RSS feature from Mail in ML. You can use a
third party RSS reader or maybe try the Safari extension mentioned at this link:

Also, here's a tip if you upgraded from Lion to ML and
Hello All.
I think the App is a good solution. The only problem I have is that my hands
are to large to do proper touch typing when using my IPhone4.
Still need to play with it more with and without my case to see if there is a
better experience.

Hi Gordon,
Thanks very much for your help with this Dropbox mystery. I repeated
the steps again and this time restarted my computer. I then ran the Dropbox
installer 1.5.8. Sadly it acted the same way. It never asked me if I had a
account or needed to open one. It just did Dropbox

Hi Eric
You missed one important step in the process I think. After stopping the
DropBox process, deleting the app, you didn't restart your machine.
I've found this to be important. Remember also that, if you upgraded Mountain

Hi, Mail is the only one that I am aware of. I love apple mail, but have
been a thunderbyrd in windows. What a shame that it is not accessible.

I know what you mean. Sometimes I send messages from the messages app,
other times I use Fleksy or even TypeInBraille. Just depends on what I
feel like grins.

Hi,
Yes, I do know that. That's what I'm doing, but sometimes when I seem to need

Hi,
yeah, I've used it. I'm slightly impressed, but not enough to use it whenever I

Some of you may be using this app already, but thought I would spread
