This I have to admit to being a damn good question on behalf of a friend who
wants to send some ring tones he's made to his wife's iPhone and iPad.
Both devices are Stand Alone devices meaning that they're not associated with
any computers of any kind so the iPhone and iPad are used as
M possible without iTunes I am afraid.

I think we just have to accept that the Mac does things differently.
On Windows you can cycle through multiple applications and open windows
within those applications with alt tab.
This causes massive potential for confusing multiple alt tabbing through
multiple windows from multiple open

One thing that doesn’t work at all is headings. If, for instance, you have an
Office document, and it has multi-level headings, VoiceOver does not read them.
It does, however, now read lists extremely well. That, at least, is a very big
improvement.

Updated my copy of Pages on my iPhone 4s.
So far so good.
Was able to add some text to a blank template I used to create a new
document.
Was then able to send a copy of this document via mail which sent it as
an attachment.
Retrieved the attachment on my Windows 7 64 bit laptop.

Yesterday I installed fusion5 and vinux 4 and I discovered that there were some
conflicts for example, there is no contects menu key and there is no way to use
the caps key for an orca modifier. Is there a way to change this in fusion

Ironically, one of the trickiest things I'm finding to do with my iPhone is
to end a phone call. If I call someone using Siri then two finger double
tap seems amazingly unreliable.VoiceOver seems either to shut up or be

Turned out that the distortion experienced on audiobook playback was
generalised. On a hunch I check the EQ and it was both on, and set to small
speakers. Turning it off fixed the issue. This may not affect anyone else but
it might hence passing it on.
