In my case I'm using the same apps both with iOS 5.01 and on the 3GS
the notifications and alerts are working fine. On my 4S no joy.

notification and find the app that is not working correctly or just go thru
all of them and set them like you want. But under push and notification
click on the app and it will take you to another screen and set these like

settings categories. In particular, there's an option under
General/Accessibility/Voiceover you might have missed. Specifically, it
