Ok, preliminary version of the script is available. I can't test it
yet, because I don't have access to any servers with all the required
pieces installed. I should have access to one middle of next week,
so if there's any problems, I should be able to iron them out then.
However, here's

This is easy to fix.
PHP can generate jpg images on the fly. I'll post a script to my
softcon pages in the next day or two that will allow you to enter
text, and it will generate a jpg file for you with the correct
settings. So, you'll have your image, but it'll be text, so it'll
fit Itu
My point was simply create an image once and be done with it. Most get
sighted help for the task.

Hi Sean
I think Lynne is referring to the way the server handles PHP scripting. This
is actually an area where there should be the least problems I would think.
PHP5 which is bundled with OS X 10.8 and 10.7 should work fine.

I think Chris has a fair point here. In fact, I can see it both ways. Chris

if you are able to create an image like this yourself, what would be the point?
You'd be able to create all of the images required.

Hello Chris
Come on, no need to be so touchy. :) Sean was simply offering a contrary
opinion. We don't need to fight just because somebody disagrees with us. There
are lots who disagree with me on lots of things. But that's fine, it's what

Hello everybody
There is one aspect which nobody has touched on yet. That being the server
configuration requirements. How is the average man in the street supposed to
handle that, assuming they don't pay a provider to do it for them?

My point here is that it may take "some" blind people away from having the

If memory serves me right, you can set pixel size within Preview, but any
graphics convertor will allow you to do this,

Actually since my podcast is strictly for the blind, that is covering
accessibility of products and software I really don't care if I have a cover
art or no. But if I need one I'll just take a picture of my desk top and use
that.
Take care all.

Yep looks like this could have an affect on blind people for sure. THe only
