Has anyone tried adding a secondary video card or some usb or firewire
extension which would allow me to separate the voice over channel to another
audio output, so that i can record podcasts without vo talking over the music
and my own voice?
I would like to figure this on a laptop.

Until you empty the trash, the space on the card isn't reclaimed. Same on

I'm not upgraded yet to SL. Nice that the program uses LAME 3.97 to
rip. I'm using a program called iTunes-LAME-3.98.2-x86 for the MP3
ripping. Probably not as simple as NMP3 Ripper, but works OK for me.
I'm not sure whether the link to the executable version of the app
I've also seen this and you can bet Apple will address it. Unfortunately
sometimes all the bugs don't get addressed in the update, but they do get to

The issue I'm having with Text edit is that VO just decides to stop
telling me what I'm typing. It's frustrating. Well, I have figured
if I turn VO off and then on again it will often work properly but not

Peter, if you use the VO Command Left Arrow command, I think it's
twice, you'll land on the rate setting. Then you can use VO command
up and down arrow to raise or lower the rate. I don't know of a way
to adjust the rate for a single command however.

Actually, now that you mention Text Edit. Every time I type in Text Edit, I
hear "Busy" until I'm done typing. Editing works fine, just not typing. I hope
it'll fix itself. I've had some things on this Mac that have fixed themselves
over time.
