actually I have the same issue in skype. there is no save just copy link. so
what would I do in that situation if someone let's say gave me a direct link to
a podcast file from within skype?

Yes, this is correct and this making it more effort to write stuff for the
OS and they are not targeting that big of cline tell yet. Another words
writing something for a windows OS is easier and Windows still have 90
percent of the market making them a much better target. Just my thoughts.

It is not possible to assign samples to different keys in Garageband. I'm
recording an audio tutorial on how to import samples and apple loops into GB
projects. I'll post it here when I'm done later this morning.

the instances where the app closed, I was listening to the stream for less than
10 minutes each time except 1. This time, the app closed after 42 minutes. I

I have the at bat application, and it also keeps closing for me.
Interestingly, I have found a workaround.
If you click on the audio stream you want, and it starts playing, you can then
click the hide button. Next, click back, so that you get into the main screen
of the at bat app
No problems here but try deleting your syrinx pref file under libraries
preferences. I'm not sure what the syrinx pref file is called though. someone
give them a hand with that?

It's pritty easey. First you open Itunes but as you open it you need to hold
down the comand key. This will bring up the Itunes dilog asking what you want
to do. Eather make a new libarey or swich to a differnt one.

command shift semicolon will spellcheck the entire document. you can do it
manually word by word with command semicolon and then VO shift m to bring up
the contextual menu for the list of suggestions.
