I have never had an issue with GMail myself. LOL
WHen I set up my Mac, I only received previous messages because when I deleted
them on Windows, they did not clear off the server. Ever since I set that
feature on the Mac, it works perfectly and it all seems pretty fast. I guess

Then VO right arrow over to the date column. Then press VO shift backslash.
You can have VO display from newest to oldest or oldest to newest by pressing
VO shift backslash again. FYI, this also works in iTunes

Unfortunately it automatically comes on in record mode. Afaik, there's not a
way to turn it off in prefs for recording. I just go up to the Menus and do it
from there. It's in the Control menu.

Have you by any chance tried using POP3 instead of IMAP? I use POP3 and
haven't had any trouble with my Gmail account using Apple Mail. I think you
have to set POP3 in gmail's Pop and Forwarding Settings page. I've never used
imap myself.

may just stick with POP3 and then have each device set to delete messages on
the server, which is what I do with my macbook Pro. I've never had any

cross devices. imap has saved my ass a few times when things have gone wrong
and the email is still on the server. Until the past few days, however today is
slightly better, imap has been working great.

AFAIK there isn't a way to do it within iTunes but QuickTime Player can.
If you pull up the contextual menu on a track in iTunes there is a
'reveal in finder' option which will open up a window with that file
selected. From there you can do another contextual menu option to open
with QuickTime

It depends on the person who encoded it. You might have to use somethign that
will split according to a queue file. I can't help you with that as I don't
know anything for the mac that will do it. Most of hte time like from the triad
group is is a folder of tracks.

Thats one of the inaccessibilities of Garageband. Being you don't have access
to the timeline you can't select portions of tracks to edit. It's the entire
track or nothing. lol. You can just record over the parts you might mess up
on though.

When I went to the Apple store for a demo and ended up buying one, the
sales person gave me a set of earphones to use while he demonstrated
Voiceover. It greatly cut down on the general noise yet I could hear
the sales person just fine. Bring some with you or ask the trainer for
a set.

application, such as ITunes. I haven't tried it myself yet, so don't

It took me a while to figure out how to get the dvd to work as well. I finally
noticed that there's another screen that comes up and inside that window you
can get the dvd to work. The buttons aren't labeled so it again took a while to
