Well, that's the reverse of what I was asking for, but it will work perfectly. I was wanting Pages to disregard the state of open files while Safari would retain what was open. I guess the thing to do is to retain the global setting to on and use the command option q for Pages to hose open

Hello Esther, Selecting noncontiguous items has changed in Lion. It's no longer necessary to turn cursor tracking off. Pressing VO-Cmd-Space bar puts you into selection mode, and using any command other than those necessary during selection, takes you out of this mode. You need to be in list

Hi, I have been using the Mac since 2008 and am never ever ever ever going to go back to windblows again. It took me a weekend to set it up and once done, i left windblows behind and have never looked back since. Ok, i've got a vm with XP and one with 7 in it, just to see what i'm not missing.

My brother was telling me about a program called spotify. It is used to listen to music of all types. Instead of buying music, you just search for an artist and you can listen from your computer as much as you like. I downloaded the application for the Mac but it doesn't seem to be accessible.
