Can't activate my readability applet any more

Dear Listers, For some weeks now, I've not been able to activate my readability applet any more. I don't understand why. Java is enabled in Safari, java runtime environment is up to date. Has anyone experienced similar difficulties in Mountain Lion and safari 6? Thanks for any suggestions.

I think the sender wanted to reply to an individual rather than the list. once the message is open, interact with the header when you get to the person who sent the mail, select their E-mail and copy to the clip board and when you reply, delete for instance Macvisionary list E-mail and command

The only thing to watch there is that you can then not save to iCloud at all. If you want the option, I *think* the Terminal trick is your best bet, but I may be wrong. Of course, if you don't plan to save documents in iCloud anyway, then unchecking the option is indeed the easiest way to go.
