Dear Listers,
For some weeks now, I've not been able to activate my readability applet any
more. I don't understand why. Java is enabled in Safari, java runtime
environment is up to date. Has anyone experienced similar difficulties in
Mountain Lion and safari 6?
Thanks for any suggestions.

I think the sender wanted to reply to an individual rather than the list.
once the message is open, interact with the header when you get to the person
who sent the mail, select their E-mail and copy to the clip board and when you
reply, delete for instance Macvisionary list E-mail and command

Hello All:
I signed into i cloud so that my contacts would sync with my i phone. There
are two problems:
1. I get a message saying that if my contacts are backed up in i cloud they
won't be backed up on google. I am not sure what this means or if I should
care about it.
2. When I go to
Hi all,
My Talking Dashboard scripts just got a big update: the template engine now
supports if statements, and you can even nest them as far as you want! The
syntax is a bit tricky to get used to, but it will all be in the readme
file. This means you can now customize the template based on, for
I'm not sure, but I have a feeling you've synced your contacts with your Gmail
account and iOS is saying that iCloud will take over contact backups. I
wouldn't worry about it, but you can google it to be sure.
As to iCloud saving, you can stay signed in and get rid of that. Google mac

Hi,
regarding Saving to iCloud from TextEdit, you don't need to sign right out to
get rid of this. Go to system Prefs, to the iCloud pane, Interact with the
Services Table and uncheck the Documents and Data service. Once it is not an
active service within iCloud, TextEdit and other iCloud

The only thing to watch there is that you can then not save to iCloud at all.
If you want the option, I *think* the Terminal trick is your best bet, but I
may be wrong. Of course, if you don't plan to save documents in iCloud anyway,
then unchecking the option is indeed the easiest way to go.
That is what I saw when I checked the menus too, we can't even record. Alas, I
shall be encumbered with this noise for a while, oh well, there could be worse
things I reckon.

Hi Traci,
Very cool!
1. First you will add a storage variable and put the Get Value of Variable
action after the Get Specified URLS.
2. Then put the Get Value Of Variable after Set the Desktop Picture. Check
the options box and check ignore this action's input.
