Launchpad, what is it?

can anyone let me know what Launchpad is used for? i’ve had it on my mac since apple put it there, but haven’t been able to figure out what i can use it for. admittedly, i’ve not explored much, and would love some feedback from those of you who may have. best. *** Michael Babcock Consulting
