Hmm. I used to have to view source and look for the path to the mp3. This was
on Windows. I haven't used Autible in a while, so I'm not sure if they went
flash based or not.

The easiest way to do this is to shut the computer down when you hear the mac
startup sound after setup reboots for the last time. Otherwise the setup
assistant won't play the VoiceOver help message. If this doesn't matter, just
quit the setup assistant when it comes up.

I use Growl with several applications. Is there a way to speed the speech up?
It drives me nuts how slow it is. I can change the voice, but no voice
attributes. Hopefully I'm just missing something. I'd even be opened to editing
a file with a command to change the rate.

Actually, the connection is a bit odd. They use a Mini Tosslink optical plug.
I've used this to transfer to my PCM-D50 digital recorder with success.

If they'd make their server available on the Mac, I'd be very happy. Anyone
know of a good FTP server with a comparable feature set of FileZilla Server?
