The only thing is that this method will not get you filenames in the subdirectories, or at least I don't think it will. It will give you the directory names of subdirectories but I think you would probably then have to repeat this process for each subdirectory. Still, it is a nice method. I'm

Hmmm, I know how to do this using terminal but not in finder. I would be interested in knowing if there's a way to do this also. In case you end up doing it in terminal: Open terminal. cd to the directory whose files you want to copy. Otherwise the whole path to the files will be given instead

You are a superstar, David! It worked, and I am very grateful to you. You just saved me several hours of work. I wish there were a way to actually go into each folder and copy the names of individual files, but this method can be used for that, too. It just takes repeating the process.
