Today when I woke up my Mac mini it didn't say anything. when I turned vo on it

You need to log in; that is the screen you are in. Maybe your mini restarted
during the night for some reason. Do vo-space on your name after interacting
with the users area and you will be in the field to enter your password.

I had somehow gotten intou-torrent. I haven’t launched that yet so it was all
blank.
when vo says that such-and-such a program or app or area has no windows is
there anything I can do besides close it and open it again? Thanks.

If it says login screen and has sleep, etc. that isn't torrent. That at least
appears to be your login screen.
As for no windows, it depends on the program. When mail says it has no windows,
you can do cmd-option-n to open a new view window. With many programs, you
can't start a new window.
oh! of course. ha. you’re right about the sleep thing but then I somehow landed
in U-torrent which I hadn’t opened yet. I have it set not to ask for a password
every time it wakes up. one of these years I’ll get this stuff figured out.
I meant to reply to the list last time instead of just to
Hi all,
This afternoon I decided to update and change out some of my ringtones. I
remade some that I wanted to be a little louder, and also wanted to copy some
that I hadn't put on the phone before. When I press Command-O to import them
into iTunes, they begin to play, as you would expect.
Hi, all.
I, to would like some clarification on this point. I have a ring tone that
showed up in my iTunes ring tone list, but in a manner hard I try to sync it or
added to the playlist of marks iPhone, it did not go. He just refuses to go. I
don't understand it and I don't know what I'm doing

Hello Linda,
Command-W closes a window. On the Mac, you can close all the windows in
an application but still have the application running.
Command-Tab will cycle through all open applications, and Command-Accent
sign will cycle through the windows of the front application
