Hmm. So according to this site there are two USB ports:
http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/macbook_pro/specs/macbook-pro-core-i7-2.9-13-mid-2012-unibody-usb3-specs.html
and this doc from Apple:
http://support.apple.com/kb/SP649
They should both be right next to each other between the card
I stand humbly corrected. Somehow I did not properly detect the
ports on the left side. I do have 2 USB ports after all. Thanks for
taking the time to research this. I just bookmarked the sites.

Interesting. Can you dig up the model number? If you go to Utilities and
open System Information. Row 1 is Hardware and if you VO-right twice to
the Hardware Overview and interact you should find the model identifier.

Hmm. I don't recall any MacBook Pros that had less than two USB ports.
On the non-retina models there are two on the left edge. On the newer
non-CD Retina models there is one on both the left and right sides.

Hello,
I am running a 2013 MBA, with Win 8.1 installed in Bootcamp. The JAWS
version is 15 current build. Right now, I am not having any issues with JAWS
running in Bootcamp, but it seems that when Bootcamp has an upgrade that's
when there may be issues? I have 2 old FS JAWS dongles stashed away
Hello Eileen:
You have two Dongles? I assume you have two separate licenses of JAWS, then? In
any case, yes, if a Dongle is authorized for JAWS 15, then yes, it should work
without issues.
As for internet activation, there are really no guarantees whether or not

Hi Chris, my point was that on such a machine (with two USB ports), with a
Dongle taking up one of those ports, you’ll be practically restricted to just
one USB port and would therefore have to purchase a USB hub if you need more.

Hi Grant,
I received these Dongles so long ago. So, if I am comprehending you
correctly, the Dongle is authorized specific to JAWS 15. Is that correct?
Thanks. For the clarification.

The dongle must be authorised for a particular version of JAWS. You can plug
it in and use the Dongle Viewer tool that comes with JAWS to see what version
your dongles authorise now. If you are in need of an update file for your
dongle, contact FS for the file and give them the serial

This is why it's much better to use a screen reader like nvda, no activation to
lose, and no installation of video drivers, really nothing but advantages.

How does one go about uninstalling the Jaws Intercept video drivers?
I was thinking about setting up Windows 7 on my MacBook Pro but, after

With regard to Jaws, and OpenBook, I have both a software license

personal grassroot computers.
Since purchasing the dongle, Freedom Scientific life has gotten much
