I wonder what VO setting you have different that has it just stop as opposed to
stopping and announcing the Authentication thing. I've tried it with low
verbosity. I've messed with custom verbosity on windows and web areas, still
with no joy. Have tried a number of other VO things with n
Just ran a quick test. This is 10.13.1. I set the display to sleep
after 1 minute and started a long read. All that happened was after a
minute everything stopped. No announcement. Did the same thing with the
screen saver. Same results. The screen saver did elicit the announcement
under Sier
Well, I didn’t know that about the slider, but mine was still set to never. I
set it to 2 hours and will see if that does anything. Seems weird that “never”
wouldn’t be the preferred setting for these things.
