If you are still unable to remember anything then I suggest you go into
Recovery mode, and then into Terminal and trick your computer
Hate to say it, but, you may actually have to do an OS reinstall. Actually,
under the Mac platform, this is not a hard thing to do. You want, before hand,
to back up your data however. This process, (the reinstall) generally takes
about two hours.

I attempted to reset my mac administration password, all to no avail, it wants
my old password which of course I cannot remember. I tried entering my apple
id, all to no avail. (this is all performed in user accounts) Any assistance

It's an issue with the Shaw certificate. If you follow the instructions you
found on the web, it will rectify that issue. The password that it is asking
for is your computer Admin password. So, the password that you use to log into
the computer is the one you need to enter, not your Shaw
