whole submission/review process for various reasons, especially the free
open-source apps.

Argh.
So, I downloaded the .zip file from colloquy.info, but there's no
readme, or any other kind of installation instruction. I'm also not
finding any installation instruction on their page.
Looking at the file structure of the exploded .zip, I see the top level
directory is colloquy.app,

I don't use android devices, but my understanding is that when you plug them
into a USB port, they look like hard drives. If that's the case, your Mac will
see it like a drive, and it will be very easy for you to copy data to and from
the unit.
Also, don't forget that underneath it's glittery

First, a quick correction to Phil's message: the keys to press are control and

Thanks. I actually went and read the voiceover manual that was on the

Once you interact with the text area you write in, it works okay. Sometimes

Hi, Deedra:
I'm not so sure it's an actual plus, just a reasonable work around when
you need one. But, I've not tried actually working with irssi in the
terminal in real time yet. I just came up with the approach and brewed
it up this past Monday following a disasterous week trying to use the

something called Android File Transfer but I haven't tried this myself yet.

Years ago I remember hearing that Colloquy was accessible but I think it
relied on Growl to speak incoming messages. It's an OSX (not terminal)
app and free so might be worth giving it a try.

Deedra,
My opinion is that VO access to the terminal is quite good. The terminal
session is contained in a buffer. You can scroll line by line using VO +
up/down.
The other thing I wanted to mention is that there is a dropbox client for the
mac. So if you can access dropbox from your
