I am currently trying to tidy up some things reported by the hildon-audit
tool. One thing it has reported is:
gtk_calendar_new: GtkCalendar is deprecated, use HildonCalendar from hildon-1:
see http://live.gnome.org/Maemo/Gtk210Migration#M14
I have looked at that URL but it doesn't help much!

Andrew,
Thanks for the comprehensive proposal, nice to see some thought put into
this. I don't fully agree with you, though. Here are my objections:
* Proposal tries to solve two different problems: repository QA and
maintainer helper tools. Both are important, but solutions might not

Hi
After quite some time of fighting with myself as well as getting
encouragement from certain members of this community, I'm humbly offer
to your attention a first {alpha, beta} release of a manual promotion
interface.
Currently the interface is in 'debug' mode, which means that no files

If you mean the restart of the ui with no desktop applet, yes, I saw it
various times, I think I had just the browser open at the time (or maybe
xterm too). I though that maybe it was caused by th

At the risk of being wrong, I'll sum-up what I think I've heard here over the
years and hope others will correct/clarify: The OMAP in-built video support
doesn't go up to the 800x480 resolution of the Internet Tablets. Therefore,
Nokia used external graphics chips from Epson. The 770's chip w

Hello All,
This is my first post to this list. I've scoured the internet and the
mailing list archives for info on this and have only found one
unconfirmed bug report regarding it. So- Apologies in advance, if it's
already been answered.
I'm a long time linux hacker who recently got the n810 for

This sounds very interesting, and I meant to mention it on my RFC
thread. It's still only part of an overall a
One more thing... I'm sure I can scare up a machine that can be used
to automatically build packages from source---assuming someone knows
how to set up scripts to do that sort of thing.

Thanks Andrew for a well-stated proposal.
I agree with David that master uploads should be source code.
'Fails to build from source' should be treated as a grave policy
violation.

I would suggest a file at the root of each filesystem (call it either
.noindex or noindex.txt). Formatting is just a list of directories
within the filesystem using relative addressing with simple globbing
allowed like so:
dev/*
sys/*
proc/*
home/user/maps/*.ogg
mapinfo*
...
That would be ok for

The biggest reason for me is that is eases collaborative development.
Anybody can reliably find the sources, for debugging, for
I am trying to compile kryptpad for OS2008.
Running ./autogen.sh works fine, but ./configure gives me:
...
checking for ANSI C header files... (cached) yes
checking for pkg-config... /scratchbox/tools/bin/pkg-config
checking pkg-config is at least version 0.
