my Mailman mailing lists. This is fairly recent. The lists function
normally (as in, emails sent to the list address are sent to the
subscribers) but nobody can subscribe through the listinfo page.
Yes, I know
they currently send email (ideally with a link to their personal options
page so they can update).

strings aliases.mailman.db | grep seo

, all worked as I felt it should.
Thank you.

I'm placing mailman into production for the first time - and I have
approximately 2500 lists. Many of my lists work fine, but many do not.
On them, I receive a user unknown error. An example: when send to
the seo list
with reply_to set to List, the reply_to address is
listname@bates.edu and not listname@lists.bates.edu, as I would
prefer. I have attached headers from an example email. Notice that
neither the Sender and To fields have the host name in the address - but
the X_BeenThere and List* fields do.

for selecting
# among alternative names of a host that has multiple addresses.
host_name = 'lists.bates.edu'
And I have run fix_url - twice.

Thank you for your reply - at your recommendation I have changed the DNS

If you find that everybody else is right and you're wrong,
it might just be that you're thinking outside
the config to the list, but that is very labor intensive...)
How can I limit the list owners - yet still allow the mailman admin
access to ALL the options via the web?

We do not want users using their network password as their mailman
password. Is there some way to modify the Mailman code so that users
are NOT given the option to choose their own password?

I have an issue I am having difficulty tracking down.
I have two users, one of whom is my boss, whose messages are not showing
up on the list. Instead, I get an uncaught bounce notification with
the message attached in my mailman_admin box.
The error text reads:
