OF, if it's solid line, then it's not immediately clear to me why it would be slower, at least from rendering perspective. One thing you could try is switch the renderer from AGG to GD in the serverconfig file to see if that makes any difference. Traian > -Original Message- > From: [E

I am using an invokeURL widget. When my map is launched from mapguide studio 2009 the SESSIONID and MAPNAME parameters are sent without errors to the mapguide server, however when the map is launched from the index.html directly these parameters are sent twice. Request["MAPNAME"] = MyMap48b483ff3

I would describe the atlas as long lines with multiple vertexes. It is in an "intelligent watershed atlas" that can be used for modelling flow from head waters to the mouths in the ocean. Martin Morrison wrote: > > Are you using a bunch of small segments for lines or a long polyline > with mul

We do have a generalized layer that we display to about 1:250,000 and then we switch to the watershed atlas. The atlas is then available for the larger scales. The line style is a simple blue line. We didn't want to re-process the atlas because it would take a lot of work and it worked fine wit

Are you using a bunch of small segments for lines or a long polyline with multiple vertexes? Can you generalize the data for when you are zoomed out and then switch layers to one with more detail as you zoom in? Martin -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Yes we turned all other layers off and even tried removing them completely. This is a line layer and double line layer for rivers and polygon layer for lakes. So it is a mix of several layers. Yes there is labelling but we turned it off to try to speed things up. We just increased the cache size

There is no size limit. To make sure this layer is to blame, did you turn off all other layers when viewing the map? Also, is this a line layer or a polygons layer. What line style or polygon style is it using to render? Is there labeling? Traian > -Original Message- > From: [EMAIL

There is no scale in the runtime map (MgMap). When you request that the image is rendered, you supply dpi, resolution and either center/scale or extent. You cannot store the scale or the center in the runtime map, you must store it locally in your client. Regards, Kenneth Skovhede, GEOGRAF A/S
