Ben, WGS84 is not a projection, it is an ellipsoid. Do you know what ellipsoid your original data were in?? Unless you have specified transformation parameters from your original ellipsoid to WGS84 in your mapinfo projection file then the Lat, Long will be the same. Ellipsoidal co-ordiantes are
