How do I change the scale of a hand-made map file from
mile to feet?
I made a file of points accidently in 300 miles scale
when it should be 300 feet scale. Any suggestions?
Many thanks!

Hi,
I am working on a thesis which requires me to map the points from the
Sanborn map.
I already created several maps using regions (rectangles) representing the
buildings. Now I need to convert it all to points instead of polygons. How
do I do it in MapInfo 6.0?
Many thanks!

Actually, MapInfo is making inroads to academic
education. Recently, MapInfo and California State University Northrige
Department of Geography entered into an alliance to train the geography students
in MapInfo/SpatialWare and donated countless software for the departmental
use.

Hi Sergeant,
I believe that Informix/SpatialWare for MapInfo are not supported on Windows
2000. Only Windows NT 4.0 with service pack 5.0.
Try contacting MapInfo corporation for more information.

Actually, there is a better SQL plug-in for MapInfo. It's called:
SpatialWare. With SpatialWare, you can install Informix with the MapInfo
and then use SpatialWare.

Hi,
No. I can DO that... but I'm referring to using Informix/SpatialWare. I'm
trying to peform SQL to do that. I am well aware of the manually doing it.
Thanks!
I'm creating a series of projects for teaching students about
Informix/SpatialWare at my university.

Quite
Or you could do this:
even:
select * from query1 where rowid\2 = rowid/2
odd:
select * from query1 where rowid\2 != rowid/2
!= means "does not equal"
also can use <> as "does not equal"

Hi All,
I have already set up the ODBC data by exporting the data from MI 5.0 to

Now, I'm trying to create the following items:
1) Bypass the exporting process, meaning using the ODBC data directly with
MapInfo and Access without having to save t
